Hurricane Arthur Emerald Isle, NC

Here are a few photos documenting Hurricane Arthur in Emerald Isle, NC over the weekend.  The weather started to get bad late Thursday evening and by early Friday morning most of the weather was gone.  I spent the morning and mid afternoon at The Cape Lookout National Seashore.  It was a beautiful day!  Luckily we experienced minimal damage from Arthur and got to celebrate the 4th of July with fireworks.

Emerald Isle Wedding Photographer

This couple only wanted a few photos of their ceremony and a few of family friends after the ceremony. We were dodging thunderstorms and the beach was absolutely packed. I only had a hour to take photos of the ceremony and post ceremony. We still managed to get some beautiful photographs. Here is a little sneak peek. Emerald Isle Beach Portraits

Here are a few photos from a beach portrait session last week at “The Point” in Emerald Isle. I had the opportunity to photograph this lovely family. It was a little windy but you can’t tell from the photos. Overall it was beautiful weather though. Beach portraits are in full swing now! Here is another photo from Jenni and Stephens wedding at Dolphin Ridge in Emerald Isle NC. We had the opportunity to work with some tide pools which made for some really cool reflections. I love incorporating reflections into my photos.

Oxford, NC Wedding Photographer

I had the opportunity to photograph Christopher and Megans wedding at The Baptist Church in Oxford, NC. They had a sweet ceremony followed by a reception at The Shrine Club. I went to high school with Megan and Chrirstopher, so it was pretty awesome to be able to photograph their wedding.

Here is a photo from my trash the dress session with Jeni and Stephen the other night. We walked down to the point in Emerald Isle and incorporated this beautiful sunset into the photos. Here are a couple of photos from Jenni and Stephen’s wedding last night down at Spinnakers Reach. They had a very sweet beach ceremony followed by a reception at the house they were staying out. Emerald Isle Beach Portratis

I had the opportunity to work with this awesome family last week. They were from Boston! We ended the session with cupcakes and sand. It turned out pretty interesting the little guy was eating his cupcake with sand mixed in. It reminded me how awesome it would to be a kid again.
